Day 01: Marrakech – Hight Atlas mountains – Ouarzazate.
Early departure from Marrakech, drive through a beautiful green valley rich with vegetation along the sides. Winding slopes and perfectly camouflaged Berber villages up to the Tichka peak of the High Atlas panoramic stop (2260 m a.s.l.). We then continue to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou: Fascinating 800-year old Berber architectural structures. Once arrived to the top of the Kasbah hill, we will enjoy the great view towards the ancient caravan roads to Marrakech and the distant peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. Visit of the Kasbah ruins, silent witnesses of the ancient culture of the Kasbah inhabitants.After lunch in Ait Ben haddou continue towards to Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt.
Day 02: Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga.
After breakfast drive to Dades valley through Skoura palm plantations and roses Valley. Getting to the Dades Valley and Todra Gorges, following an awesome road and high colorful peaks and cliffs. Stop for sight-seeing and breaks, then we continue on the desert road to Erfoud. The road is rich with black stones containing marine fossils (Option: Visit to one of the marble fossils industries).From Erfoud we will drive through a rocky desert trail to Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset and overnight stay in a Berber tent in the heart of the dunes.
Day 03: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz valley – Midelt – Fes.
Early morning wake up for camel riding and outstanding sunrise. Arriving to the hotel for refreshing and breakfast. On the way to Fes you’ll cross the town of Rissani and Tafilalet; the center of allaouit dynasties, the valley of Ziz and Ziz gorges.
After lunch in a local restaurant in middle Atlas mountains continue the road through the cedar forests. Cedar was already used from the Phoenician times and Roman time for woodcraft, essences and Building even ancient Marine boats. Then pass through Azrou; typical Zayan Middle Atlas Berber village and Ifran. Overnight in hotel/ Riad.
Day 04: Fes – Fes.
The whole day dedicated to visit the city of Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco founded in the eight century by Moulay Idriss II. You will visit the Medina, Medersas Attarine, Ennajarine Fountain, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and Karawiyin Mosque, as well as the new medina in Fez Jdid.
Check-in at the hotel/riad in the evening.
